Shipping Policy

Thank you for visiting and shopping at HeyBuddy. Following are the terms and conditions that constitute our Shipping Policy. Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays.

If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email.

Engraving can add 3-4 business days to your order.

Domestic:

Ships next day before 8pm EST.

FREE: 4-10 business days

Express: 2-5 business days

International:

Ships next day.

6-18 days business days

Business Day: 

A business day is Monday through Friday, excluding weekends and holidays.

Example:

If you order a device with engraving on Wednesday in the U.S., it will take up to 10 business days for free shipping, plus 4 additional business days for engraving. That’s a total of 14 business days, meaning you can expect your tag in about 2.5 weeks.

Important Notes:

  • Holidays may cause delays, especially at the end of the year.
  • Expedited shipping is available, which includes tracking for your order.

Why Do Free Shipping Orders Take Longer?

We want every pet parent to have access to a HeyBuddy smart tag, which is why we keep our products affordable. To make free shipping possible, we send orders through USPS First-Class Mail — the same way a letter is mailed. While this keeps costs low for you, it also means delivery can take a bit longer and does not include tracking.

Since our smart tags range from just $10–$16, and standard package shipping in the U.S. costs around $4.50, covering that on every order would quickly add up. Instead, we give you the choice:

Free Shipping: Sent via USPS First-Class Mail (longer delivery time, no tracking).

Expedited Shipping: For a small fee, you’ll receive faster delivery with tracking. This is especially recommended for time-sensitive orders like a new adoption or a holiday gift.

This way, you get to decide what works best for you — affordable or fast.

Important!

Most orders come in a purple envelope in the MAIL so not as a standard package. Please check your mail for your order. It will most likely not come to your doorstep but in your mailbox.
